On the road in the southland

Thanks, Skip,

It's such a pleasure to share the journey with you. That is one amazing hotel hallway, for example. It goes on forever. And the beautiful shots in Greenville of the symmetrical glass structure. Fun to see your own friendly mysterious image centered in some of them. Good pair of friends, one sees, in the exotic park. And then that stellar series of religious, worshipful, corny, wonderful Americana, with the angels' words to that cold, stiff Joseph hoping it's an okay dream about his betrothed, all the way to the angel in earmuffs and that sweet, loving Mary with a real lovely bambino. Such a trip!

I love to see the Southland. My mom and dad retired to Tryon, near Asheville, and for 20 years we trekked down there ourselves into those beautiful mountains, into those rolled back seasons, warmer, sweeter.

So glad you are there to catch the light.

Warmest regards,

Anne (Remley)
